FIN 3330 - Finance for Entrepreneurs |
This course enhances knowledge of basic financial management
concepts and applies them to starting up, operating,
expanding, and selling small business firms. Emphasis will
be placed on evaluation and preparation of financing
packages for securing financing from banks, venture,
capitalists, and government agencies. Working capital
management will be covered in detail. Completion of this
course will prepare future entrepreneurs with the skills
required to successfully manage the financial challenges of
a small business venture. Prerequisite: ACCT 3314 and
MGMT 3306 each with a grade of "C" or higher.
