Practice in composition with emphasis on rhetorical and
writing principles for the different expository modes;
emphasis on style and variety in sentences, paragraphs, and
essays; stress on reading comprehension and outlining.
Corequisite: ESOL 1310. Prerequisites: ESOL 1306 or ESOL
1406 and ESOL 1309 each with a grade of C or higher, or
adequate placement score.
