Instruction in addressing academic writing tasks through the
composing process, with emphasis on strategic use of
language, of rhetorical form, and of authorial voice and
point of view to inform and persuade effectively;
development of critical thought through writing and reading

Prerequisite: ENGL 0311 or placement examination.
