THEA 3325 - Directing I |
Directing I (2-3)
The basic principles and strategies of bringing a playscript
to life. Special emphasis is on learning to think
as a director in order to develop the techniques
which suit specific situations in the process of
directing, including the director-designer and
director-actor communication. Students will put
principles and strategies into practice via
exercises and by directing scenes and a short
play.
Prerequiste: THEA 2303 with a grade of "C" or better, or
instructor approval.
