The course covers Riemann sums and definite integrals,
the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, integration by
substitution, numerical integration, differentiating and
integrating exponential and logarithmic functions, inverse
trigonometric functions, differentiating and integrating
inverse trigonometric functions, and hyperbolic functions.
Students are expected to learn the material so that
they thrive in mathematics and science courses for
which this material is a prerequisite.
Prerequisite: MATH 1411A & B or placement
with a grade of C or higher and department approval.
