OSCM 4315 - Purchasing & Supply Management |
The course addresses the strategic and operational side of
the purchasing and the supply function in the organization
and between organizations. The focus includes developing
and implementing a procurement strategy, supplier
selection and development, buyer-supplier relationships,
global sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and
quantity, quality, and cost/price considerations for the
purchase of goods and services. Prerequisite: OSCM 3321
with a grade of "C" or better.
