NURS 6370 - Epidemiology Border Population |
Use of current concepts of public health, evidence-based
recommendations for health promotion and disease prevention,
cultural and socioeconomic determinants of health, and
cultural diversity and sensitivity to guide D.N.P. practice.
Participants will analyse epidemiological, biostatistical,
occupational and evironmental data to develop, implement,
and evaluate clinical prevention and population health along
the U.S.-Mexico border. Prerequisite: NURS 6310, NURS 6320,
NURS 6330, NURS 6338 and department approval.
