Nursing Care of Clients Adapting to Perioperative
Stressors (3-6-0)
This course provides an opportunity to gain further
knowledge and skill in the nursing care of clients who
require surgical intervention. Focus is on the complete
Perioperative cycle of care. Clinical practicum is
provided in pre-operative care and health teaching,
participant/observer during the intraoperative phase, and
post-operative care.
Prerequisite: Department approval.
Nursing Major fee required.
