Contemporary Nursing Approaches to End of Life.
The course is designed to introduce end of life issues.
The content is coupled with evidence-based nursing
practice principles relating to care of the client and
their support system at the end of life. A major
focus will be the development of individual self-awareness
concerning end of life issues and decisions. The learner
will be introduced to the interdisciplinary team approach
to care and the role of the professional nurse as a
member of the team.
Restricted to Nursing Majors. Departmental approval
required.
