Operating Systems Design (3-0)
Design and implementation of single and multiuser operating
systems. Topics include OS structure, process management,
interprocess communication within and between CPUs, memory
managements, file systems and I/O. Contemporary operating
systems provide design examples.
Major Restrictions: EE, EECE, CS
Prerequisites: EE 3372 with a grade of "C" or better; junior
standing
